| so i haven't posted on here in a long time. i've been sick and back and forth to numerous doctor's visits. fun.

well... hmmm... nothing else to post really... except that tomorrow is my day off and i'm ready for it! although i'm not quite ready for the two finals and trip to MO which commences next week. this weekend will be the last sane weekend for quite a while.

| joel and i enjoyed the final game while at a hotel in downtown chicago and filling up on room service. excellent fun! sorry all you tigers fans... but it was bound to happen. missouri air just makes better athletes. :D
in all reality, i felt really bad for verlander... being 23 and having to save your whole team? poor guy was racked with nerves. i loved how weaver just walked out there and got it done. woot!

| i love kate dicamillo's books. she is a great story teller. i only wish i had kids to read them to! but i just continue to build up my library with fabulous literature.

new topic - what is your favorite ice cream flavor? i was at the local coffee shop yesterday and i saw the flavor, "superman". who would like this flavor? i wondered to myself as i stared at the bright reds, yellows, and blues that has been dipped almost clean. discuss your favorites and your thoughts on the superman flavor. i'm intrigued. | | |

thank you symph2 for the anniversary present - awesome. can't wait for you to visit and we can serve up some coffee real nice-like. our coffee making has improved, you must know. we have a burr grinder and a new ten cup machine with a gold filtration system (which is supposed to be great for some unknown reason). you'll have to try it out.
